Mardi Gras Run for your Beads 5K

WHAT: A super-fun, 5K road race with some Mardi Gras Fun.

The course will begin and end at 12th and Lynch (Near AB Tour Center).

STUFF TO KNOW

This race is in February so it could be cold. We will run in just about any conditions but we do reserve the right to cancel if we deem the course too dangerous. Parking is abundant in the Anheuser-Busch parking lots off Sidney St. at 9th and 10th. 

Cost

$25 per runner in advance $30 the day of the event - A portion of the proceeds benefits Cardinal Glennon Children’s Center.

Mardi Gras Inc. continues it’s expansion of the festival and runs into the athletics. Now the Wiener Dogs aren’t the only ones that can run during the festival season!  The Mardi Gras 5K will include some of your favorite characteristics of Carnival including a costume contest and Beer and Hurricane station opposite the water break.  In addition to your mid race refreshment, we’ll have a glass of Michelob Ultra at the finish to replenish the few calories that you’ve burnt during the run. 

Age groups

Age groups for the Mardi Gras 5k will be Men’s and Women’s: U20, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+

Awards for the following

Overall Male and Female Champion will receive - Two VIP tickets to the Bud Light Tent the following weekend at the Grand Parade. Includes all food and beverages for the day.
